my email name is spelled wrong

but I get emails  so i don't know where the error is.

  You can update your email address by adding a new one and deleting the old one:  http://help.geni.com/entries/431604-Removing-Email-Addresses

  Sorry, that link probably won't help you.  Follow the instructions below.  As for why you still get email with the wrong address, it may be that your email provider is directing that to your account as well.  Services like Google will do that depending on how the email address is formed (e.g. has a "." in it).

  Here are some instructions:

  1. Go to your Email & Password settings
  2. Click 'Add email' and enter the new email address
  3. Use the 'delete' link if you would like to delete the old email address
  4. Use the radio buttons next to the email addresses to select your primary email address. This is the address where your Geni Notifications will be sent.

  Note that you must have at least one email address associated with your Geni account. Therefore, you must add a second email address before deleting an email address from your account.
