I have multiple accounts, how can I get rid of them?

I must have signed up for Geni with other email addresses previously but I can no longer access these. The matches on my family tree keep coming back to old accounts that I had. How can I get rid of these and keep the one I am using now?

  One solution would be to just merge the two trees into a single tree, but I'm trying to find out if the other tree can just be deleted, since it hasn't yet been connected into the World Tree.
