I've sent an email to misconduct@geni.com (as advised in the help section) two weeks ago, but get no reply. Is this the correct way to do it?

Jeff, Geni Curator Lauris, misconduct@geni.com is for reporting photographs containing nudity, or obscene, lewd, excessively violent, harassing, sexually explicit, otherwise objectionable subject matter on the site. It's not for technical support. What is it that you're trying to do or need help with? If you're incorrectly placed in the tree, I can move you. If you just want to be disconnected from a legit location, why not just close your account? I can disconnect you, but it seems like an odd request. If you're seeking additional privacy, you can make those changes here: https://www.geni.com/account_settings/profile_privacy and by unchecking "Let the public search for me (profile privacy settings apply)" under: https://www.geni.com/account_settings/permissions

Lauris Olups Oh, I used that e-mail because it was mentioned here: http://help.geni.com/entries/21680489-I-found-a-listing-under-my-name-and-I-would-like-it-to-be-removed
The reason why I want myself removed is that I was added to that tree by mistake, I have actually no relation to those people. But I don't want to completely close my account, because I might use it in the future.

Jeff, Geni Curator Lauris, no problem - I've disconnected you from that incorrect family. I did notice another Lauris Olups account on Geni - father Arvīds. Is that you? I could merge the accounts if so.
