My maternal grandmother is erroneously linked as the daughter of her husbands's parents. I have no idea how this happened, but I cannot figure out how to delete that information because I am told it will split the tree, which is exactly what should happen, and then I can enter her real parents names. How do I go about doing this?

Jeff, Geni Curator Sylvia, I've fixed this for you. I also noticed another problem, which I haven't fixed yet. Your father appears to have a duplicate profile (listed as his brother) with duplicate profiles for yourself, your siblings, and your mother. I can easily merge them to fix the duplication, but noticed the death date for what you have for your father and what the other profile has is different, so wanted to check they were the same person and which date was correct before I took any action to help with that.

Lisbeth Walls My paternal great-grandmother is incorrectly given as my grandfather's step-mother, not his mother. Her husband only had one wife, and I don't know why their children are split.

Jeff, Geni Curator Lisbeth, edit the profile of your grandfather and select the relationship tab. There will be a dropdown menu for parents which currently says Martin and Unknown. Click it and select Martin and Ishula - save.

Sandy A. Roberts I need help with my Father's information. His father's name is Dalton Roberts, however he is listed as both his father and his brother. His mother's name is Leah Jarvis. She is incorrectly listed as Dalton's mother. Dalton and Leah were unmarried. Leah and Peter Harris were married and have a daughter Eileen (my dad's sister). Can we get this all fixed before I enter more information.

Jeff, Geni Curator Sandy, should be all set now.
