Merge tree to Ancestry.com from Geni

I am starting a tree on Ancestry.com, but can't I just merge from the tree already on Geni?

  There is no ability to merge with an Ancestry tree.  Ancestry is not a world tree and does not merge with existing trees.   The only thing you can do to migrate to Ancestry is to export and upload a GEDCOM: http://www.geni.com/gedcom  But I'd certainly encourage you to stay with Geni and the world tree model: http://www.geni.com/worldfamilytree/learn-more

  Hi - I watched a video with Randy Schoenberg about how you can merge ancestry.com and Geni using "Smart Copy" (Chrome extension). 

  It isn't working to merge my ancestry.ca account though...?
