How can I do it so the place of birth appears on the Tree ?

  There is no build in method on the Geni tree view to display birth location.  It only shows the name, profile picture and birth / death dates.  I have seen where some people will use the country flag as a profile image for people that emigrate to show a transition from one country to another.  One way to easy identify birth locations (and death location) for your tree in a visual way is to create a graph using HistoryLink.  http://historylink.herokuapp.com/graph  Once you start building the graph, there will be an selection for "Colors" which you can define to be based on birth location.  This is very help for identifying country patterns or those missing country info.
