Removing childless ex-relationship

Hello,

I would like to remove the relationship with my ex-partner, however the "Remove" button is greyed out when I attempt to do this. Is there something I am missing here? How could I remove this relationship - we have not been together for quite a while and our families are no longer connected in any way.
