Full tree not showing up in statistics?

I have traced hundreds of people (maybe even thousands) to be related to me, going as far as 27 generations back but they do not show up in my family tree. Why is this and how can it be fixed? Thank you

  I also do not have all of their surnames listed in my Last Names Index.
