Is there a way to indicate that I have adopted my stepson?

We're not blood family, but there doesn't seem to be a way to indicate that he is both legally and socially my son.  His mother and I can both be biological or adoptive parents or he can be my ex-wife's son, but there does not seem to be a way to show both things at once.

  You need to create a parent conflict, where he is listed as having more than two parents (often done via tree view with the "move" option).  Then you can select one set as biological and one set as adoptive.  If the mother is listed in both, then on the page it will show you as the adoptive father.
