Is there a way to make my search list for my tree add women's maiden names? I've added over 200 names in the past three weeks and remembering/finding maiden names is difficult for me. Everything's getting jumbled in my brain. (Thanks Geni, for a splendid place to keep track). I'm coming across people that may be related on brides' sides but can't remember what branch they're hanging from at the time. I do have the maiden names in () but my tree doesn't show up as a whole, it's got canopies on the upper right corners that open sub trees and therein lies the confusion. Which sub tree has the ______ woman? Or being almost positive that I saw ______ in my tree. Thanks in advance for any help.

Jeff, Geni Curator I would think the search should be able to help you, but if you go outside your tree you'll it a pay-wall as advanced searching the world tree is a pro membership feature.
There is also the "Go To" at the bottom of the tree, that lists all the visible profiles by last name. You can use the preferences to increase the Ancestors / Descendants to show more profiles.

Dianne Elizabeth Ashworth Thank you, Curator.
I have the "Preferences" set up with 10 ancestors and ALL descendants "Names" portion set up with "Birth surname appended", "Display birth name in parentheses" and have "Everywhere" clicked. This doesn't work in the "Go To" list. Is this what you meant?
