I would really like to arrange the children of one spouse in order across all his spouses.(ok yes, this is Henry I again with his plethora of partners and hundreds, it seems, of children. sorry to bore everyone) I can't order the partners because he has more than 10 but thought maybe that would happen if I ordered the children but it only orders them under each partner so it's all still out of order overall.

Randy Stebbing When looking at the tree my preference would be for the spouses to be arranged with the earliest marriage on the left and the most latest on the far right in strict chronological order by marriage date.
Here are a few more examples of complicated polygamous marriage relationships and I've run across and there are probably 100 more of these tangled family trees in connection with this project: http://www.geni.com/projects/Early-Mormon-Leaders-Project
For example Brigham Young's tree:

Or these...

Terry Jackson (Switzer) Yes, being able to have the most recent partner closest to the main profile is another aspect that I would like too.

Randy Stebbing Actually I'd prefer a strict chronological display on the tree with the first spouse on the left and the most recent spouse on the far right. Visually this is just the opposite of the preference you mention of having the most recent spouses closer to each other. Sounds like there would need to be both options with a preference setting controlling which one would be enabled.

Terry Jackson (Switzer) I think that if for a first step the Geni team could make it so that more than ten partners could be added and ordered. A later step would be being able to select whether tree displayed these as most recent closest to the partner or most recent furthest from the partner.

Yao Liu Independent of the tree view, it would also be great (and a simple technical implementation) to order one's children strictly chronologically on the profile page, i.e. next to his (or her) profile picture.
