Judith Judi Elaine (McKee) Burns That's okay - but I do alot of cut and paste entry from my paf files into geni since i can not gedcom into them - right now the Hardesty Manuscript stands at 22,204 profiles for entering into geni - this does not count my personal ine only PAF file but of course since I descend from the Hardesty line two times this cuts the personal file down considerable -
Plus the shift key does not like to work properly on this HP Pavillion most of the time - which is annoying enough to me when i am doing data entry and webpages. Besides the outerside of my left hand being numb most of the time.... i know excuses
i do like the idea tho

Jadra (Geni Curator) Agree partialy ie after we have prefix field added, for example what would that mean for titles that are written in lower case (such as don for Catholic priests)

Dan Cornett By "forcing", I interpret this not as forcing the user to type that way, but "forcing" the INITIALLY saved field to be "Cap Words" --- but that's only when a blank field is first filled. If the field is later edited, the manager can change the case (such as for the poet e. e. cummings).
This should apply whether the field is filled interactively or via a file transfer (e.g.: GEDCOM / AncestorSync).

Philip James Decker, Ͼ @DanCornett
The poet's name should be entered as Edward Estlin Cummings.
The abbreviated forms of his name, sometimes written in lowercase letters as e.e. cummings or ee cummings (in the style of some of his poems), belong in the Display Name field and/or in the Also Known As field.
From his Wikipedia page:
"Cummings' publishers and others have sometimes echoed the unconventional orthography in his poetry by writing his name in lowercase and without periods, but usual orthography (uppercase and periods) is supported by scholarship, preferred by publishers today, and consistently used by the E. E. Cummings Society. Cummings himself used both the lowercase and capitalized versions, though he most often signed his name with capitals."

Terry Jackson (Switzer) I would like to at least have the abiltity to 'change to mixed case' on profiles I manage/curate or this could be generally available.
