A project of a group of other attached projects

Create a project and be able to link projects together either in a related topics way and or a tree link where you have a parent project and children projects.

One idea is a parent project of royalty in history and children projects of each royal house or dynasty. This could possibly help in clean up of merge issues as well.

I have one project I would like to start for Volga Germans and have children projects of each village within.

An idea of linking projects would be wars/battles fought throughout history being able to link them into a category of some sort. You could then take this and even make sub projects for specific battle locations.

  There exist many projects with multiple subprojects, but there's no internal structure other than to appear as "related projects." This could be a first step in organizing the ever increasing number of projects.

  If Geni plans to make a structural change along these lines, I would also suggest that a profile added to a subproject automatically appears in the parent project as well. At least make it a checkbox option.

  While it may seem a bit cumbersome, one useful "convention" cam come from realizing that (currently) the list of Related projects is alphabetical.

  Thus, if one names the subjects appropriately, they can then show automatically in "sub-groups" because of that alphabetical sorting.
