Geni calculates "family statistics". The average life expectancy does not take into account deaths because of wars/holocaust/accidents/crime. Thus, the average can be skewed by these occurrences and supply results that are not relevant. For example, a big part of my family was murdered during the holocaust some at a very young age and this affects the resulting calculation very much. I suggest that you add to the personal profile a possibilty of "wrongful death" or similar that would allow to give a "corrected" true familial life expectancy!

Johannes Fredrik Steen A check box for unexpected early death would be a way to implement this, skipping such profiles in the statistis.
