Hi, the document tab (main profile page) shows a counter, which is very useful: it invites family members to take a look at it.
I believe adding a counter to the 'media and 'discussions' tab would be very useful as well. Now family members who visit a profile don't know if there are more pictures of that person or discussions (they always have to click on it)

Ashley Odell This should also extend to the Timeline tab, showing the number of events listed.
Media, Timeline, and Discussions are good tabs with good features, but they don't get the attention they deserve. Additionally, seeing a number for "Sources" but not the others suggests the other tabs have no content. We need to fix this.

Lo I am confused. There is No Document Tab on the Main Profile Page -- Documents come under the Media Tab - and it does not currently show a counter.
For the Timeline Tab -- what would be helpful is to know if it contains anything other than the auto-created events with the auto-created content - ie added events, or any info added to the Basic Events that does not show on the Overview Page (such as 'Description of Event', or photos in the Event).

Ashley Odell Lo, the tab that now says "Media" was renamed. This suggestion was posted over a year ago.
I'm partial to including all timeline events, whether they're auto-created or not. Highlighting all will encourage users to upload documents for the auto-created ones and add more events beyond those. And again, when we don't indicate that there's anything in the tab, it looks like it's completely empty. That's the biggest issue I see now. There is an implicit suggestion of "don't bother checking here."

Craig Andrew MILES I think that a counter on all of the tabs as is done with Sources would be beneficial to indicate to viewers that there is content to see on those tabs.
I came to to this discussion when I was about to add a request for the Media tab specifically to show a counter.
