Adding the male Birth name was a great idea, but we should allow for multiple name changes, which occurred very often when a female had her name changed when she immigrated to the United States after or before changing her name during marriage.

Dan Cornett This seems like something that 'events' could capture (after all, most name changes ARE associated with some event, as with those you've given as examples) ... but then those names may not consistently (would not ever?) show up in searches or matches. Perhaps adding all the changes along the way into the middle name field?
