It's been years that in my large family, we edit each year an adress book in order to all family members to contact each others.
All postal adresses, telephone numbers, date of birth are written for each direct family, and ordered then within each branches of grand father, grand mother etc...
Wouldn't it be possible to do this?
We also recently added emails adresses, company, job, etc...
Updating the extended family address book just as Yann described is the main reason I am working on Geni. This link said that it would be possible: http://www.geni.com/blog/new-feature-family-address-book-33321.html. But as far as I can tell, it is not possible. If not, why not?? If it is possible, please make it clearer how one can do this. I would like to know soon, because if it is not possible, I would like to cancel my Geni Pro account.
How does that function work? I cant access it over the top bar...
The family address book is no longer availble
The Geni Terms states in VIII, Content/Activity Prohibited, 26: collect or harvest any personally identifiable information, including names or email addresses, from the Geni Services...
So technically, even if it is possible using the API, we are not allowed to create such a list.
