Hello, again - please add residence item (address) to all names. It is there only in case of living persons but not in case of deceased ones.

Bjørn P. Brox What is wrong using burial location?
As far as I know internally the residence field is/was used to store burial location when marked as deceased.

Bjørn P. Brox Or are you looking for adding residence sources?

Jan Kašpar Yes. For example, my grandgrandfather was born in one village, then he moved several times until he stayed in one place (which I could call main residence place), and he was buried in another village because there was no cemetary in his village. Anyway, I was concerned at least about what I called main residence place (where one stays for most of his life) because this feature is not available here as it almost always differs from birthplace. Is it more understandable now?

Bjørn P. Brox Meanwhile you can add this information in the About Me of the profiles.
The information does also get more visible for the viewers of the profiles when the information is spelled out as you did above, and you can supply the location names with Wikipedia or Google Map wikitext links.

Dan Cornett If the "Add Event" feature of the Timeline were to support all GECOM events (of which RESIdence is one), then this ought to be easy to do.

Jan Kašpar Thanks. I have been wondering if one can make this residence feature visible directly in ones family tree on the icon of a person, together with three features that are already there: name, date of birth and death and the picture.

Dan Cornett @Jan: I have seen some profiles which put some location info into the "Display Name" (e.g. First Last of location).

Derek Alan Birnie I would like a data field for residences. It is key data in census documents and other records and would help in particular to show immigration histories of ancestors.

Jeff, Geni Curator If you go to the timeline, you can add an event for residence.
