A number of people in my family tree are known by a nickname. I enter this nickname in the 'Also known as' field. Under tree display 'preferences' there is no ability to include this nickname.
For example, in my tree:
Name: "Margaret" (first name) "Jane" (middle name) "Morrison" (last name) "(Easton)" (birth name)
This person is known by her nickname "Janie" so having the ability to add the nickname to the tree display is important. Can a check box be added to Preferences: Sitewide name preferences: Add a check box "Show also known as names" .
In this case: Margaret Jane "Janie" Morrison (Easton)
