Absolutely need the ability to UNDO MERGES, now my tree is trashed with data that I have no idea whether it is true or not, it cascaded through my tree and now I am really inclined to cancel my PRO trial before it takes effect.
Others feel the same way about this, you really have to make this feature available ASAP, before it trashes all our data.
If it is already available, how do we do it?
Have you considered a Live Chat feature as nearly every other Online Vendor of Services provides?
I tried my first merge and was so sorry! It's like you throw a party for a few friends and all these interlopers burst through your doors and mess up your house. I understand Geni's mission is to grow a big tree, but I wanted to keep my tree fairly streamlined. Is there a way of reverting to what you had before the merge? Or at least "turning off" the new people it's added?
Seriously pissed off! I don't know what a "Volunteer Curator" is, but one just seriously F'd up my tree by merging people that should not be merged! [This is one of the main reasons I stopped any research with GENI!]
I have just had a fan based curator trash my family tree containing years of work ,just to have the pleasure of linking his family with mine.I gave no such permission,and need to remove this inaccurate information.

Is there anyway to Undo a Merge? I liked my tree the way it was and now have tons of request and several merges I don't understand.
Well after many months of hard work on my family tree here goes people I have No clue who they are and now has trashed my family tree, you all need to either have it on the basic Geni a way these people have to ask you BEFORE they change it...... we have 100% honest fact and proof and here these people go and change things THEY HAVE NO PROOF of... or KNOW nothing about almost like Find a grave, people goes into these cemeteries that have No business doing and adding people to people's names that are not even related to them, I liked to never got that changed and cleared up with the truth of who was who and who was related, thank the good lord above it was my family cemetery with well over 400 people buried there and i have all that information. Please stop others from going into other folks accounts and changing things, we work hard on these and dont want anyone adding NOR changing anything without paper proof or some kind of proof,.
