It would be very helpful if multiple names / surnames could be entered for the same person in different language.
so that for example I could add both hebrew and english names.
For some people I have names in 4 languages (Polish/Yissish/English/Hebrew....)
This would brew great also for place names but much more important for first names and surnames.
This will also make merges easier and more accurate, on make it easier to know what is what.
This is being suggested many times, and (I think) they plan to do it, but not anytime soon. Naturally it'll be a lot of work to get it right.
I actually looked for such a feature request and did not find one...
this seems so important IMHO as it will help so many people and improve matches significantly.
It would be nice to have a work around - like a designated location to store the various names that could be searched.
This request of mine has already been implemented...
Just edit a profile and on the "Basics" tab you have an add language that allows you to add a persons name in multiple languages.
