Hello,
The profile for my great great grandfather Anton Weiss is public. However, it has a timeline with it that shows details such as name and birthdate for his son Joseph Peter Weiss, whose profile is NOT public. How can this be fixed?

Colleen Greene Yep, same here! Public profile timelines should NOT show info from Private profiles (just simply: ...."Child" born). And toggling off the Births events type is not a solution, because it also hides the birth event of the person featured in the Public profile. This needs to be fixed ASAP.

Lo This has been discussed / mentioned several times in some of the Public Discussions as a main reason many refuse to go along with "make Public all deceased Profiles", instead requiring at least one buffer generation between. Considering that many folks also put that info on the Children in the "About" section - and that last I looked it was recommended that it be put there - it is clear many do not consider it a bug. Good luck on getting them to address this!!
Philip - assuming Geni knows Anton Weiss is your great great grandfather, you should have the option of making him Private!!
