I can not send a birthday or anniversay greeting.

When I try to send a message & gift for a birthday or anniversary & then click on "continue", nothing happens and on the bottom left hand side of my screen, it says, "Done, but with error on page".

  2nd report.  Same problem as Carole Sanders -- click on "continue", nothing happens . Says says, "Done, but with error on page". 

  The last gift I was able to send was at the end of May, 2011.  Something has changed since then. 

  I will also add that the gift icons are in an unusual spot and run off the page. Screen shot attached.

  I get exactly the same issue as the second comment.  Been like this for a while and cannot send any greetings or gifts to anyone.  Using IE7 if that helps.

  Please fix it so that I will be able to send birthday greetings! After "continue" I am unable to send the messages!

  I had Internet Explorer 7 software. Geni Support staff suggested i download IE8. That worked.

  I have not been able to send a birthday greeting for a while now. First it didn't work at all. Now I get the payment promo page and there is no way to continue onwards from there. So I am stuck. It's a shame that it doesn't work. It was a lovely way to keep in touch with family members. I get the feeling that non-paying users will be slowly (or not so slowly) pushed out.

  I am having the same problem as Leslie. IS IT BECAUSE I AM NOT A PAYING PRO CUSTOMER.

  I am NOT able to send birthday greetings or virtual gifts.  I am continually re-routed to the geni-pro upgrade page.  It is in constant loop mode.  I am VERY unhappy with this issue.  Your immediate attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated.  Gayle Solum

  This bug report was related to an issue with Internet Explorer 7, which is now fixed.

  As of September 13, gifts are now Plus and Pro only features. Please note we are improving the gift page right now to make it easy for users at any level to send messages to their family for birthdays and anniversaries.
