Sorry, but your incomplete Curator's Answer says that the steps are,
1) open document
2) choose Actions
3) select delete document
but delete is NOT an option under Actions, when the document is only a web link, and not a physically uploaded document. The only actions visible are edit, view larger, comment, or open in new window.
So I suppose that my only real option is to click Unfollow document, instead of Actions?
I guess that you cannot delete it because the document is not a document added by you.
Thanks much for your response. But actually, these are web links that I created. There seems to be no way to delete them. I even tried blanking out all the fields, and re-saving, but that just made it worse, because then it became very difficult to re-open them for further editing, because there was then no longer any title to click on. Oops. Go ahead and try to create and then delete one, and tell me if I am wrong in what I am seeing or doing. I am not a Pro, if that matters.
I too have added documents using the web links option only to find that it doesn't work but even in these cases, I cannot delete the new document.
Hi Steven - I'm sorry you were having trouble deleting a web links document. It has now been fixed and you should be able to delete them without any issues. Thanks for your help, Bjorn and Terry.
