cannot add new e-mail all the messageges are fine but the new e-mail not added

  I'm sorry that you're having trouble adding a new email address. Can you please let me know if you're trying to add a new email address to your own account? Or are you trying to add a new email address to one of the profiles that you manage?

  Also - which browser are you using (Internet Explorer, Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Opera)?

  Flemming - Just go to your Email & Password section of your Account Settings (https://www.geni.com/account_settings/email_password). Add the new email address, then you'll be able to delete the old one.

  Same issue using an iPad or chrome. Not given the option to change my email address.

  Jack, there is no option to change an email address. You'll need to add your new email address, set it as your primary email address, and then delete your old email address.

  Hi Natalie, I'm also having issues, I'm trying to change the email address for an account I manage. That email address is no longer valid and I want to change it, but I cannot login as that user.

  Any way to change it?

  HI Kunal - It's not possible to change the email address of another user. If a user's email address is invalid, that user will need to log in and correct it themselves.

  Szia. Segítséget kérek - új e-mail címet akartam adni, mert a régit megszüntetem, de a rendszer nem adja hozzá - így nem tudom törölni a régit sem.

  The user that is having trouble logging in, doesn't have access to the email address that is assigned on her account. It was my uncle's work email address and he has passed away. So how can we get my aunt's account recovered? Is there a way to contact Geni, or to email in some proof so the email address can be updated?

  Access to the e-mail is not required.   As long as the person enters the e-mail address  (type it in; no attempt will be made by Geni to access it or verify or etc.)  and  enters  the password, they can enter/access and edit the account.  The e-mail address itself may be defunct or inaccessible or whatever.    It is only if they do not know the password AND do not have access to the e-mail that there is a problem.
