found a bug...if you merge 2 entries and one of the entries has a slightly different name, lets say it has the maiden name only, and another entry has both names...(it happens all the time)..(or one spells it with "e" and another entry has "i" or "y' or etc..-happens also all the time).
The pic recognition system doesn't work if after the merger the name gets changed from the original and the pic gets lost as the result. So there's something missing in how the "In This Photo:" gets interpreted after mergers. It feels like "In This Photo:" is hard coded, the name I mean and it doesn't consider or see the changes after mergers. So the fix would need to update "In This Photo:" information after a merger is done.
I've lost several pictures like this, (and since those were added by someone else I had no idea from where to find those again). At first I didn't understand whats happening. But then after realizing what goes wrong... the workaround I've used , if I see 2 entries that need to be merged, one has a photo, another doesn't, I open the photo first; do the merge, then edit the photos "In This Photo:" according to whatever the name after the merge ended up being.
Does it make sense what I'm talking about?
