Sorry, It was me that mixed this up today and I've fixed it. Here is why I had made the change (http://help.geni.com/entries/22227330-My-family-tree-is-totally-messed-up-My-father-is-married-to-my-husband-s-uncle-Now-my-husband-s-cous). I had ask for clarification from your wife but hadn't heard back. Prem was incorrectly partnered with her father, so I disconnected it for her. But that left that tree branch disconnect, so I tried to guess as to how he was your uncle (incorrectly - sorry about that).
That is odd that you can not manage your father's profile - that should not be the case. Even though you're not the manager, you should have full edit rights to those profiles in your family group that are not claimed. But we can make you a manager in a round about way. Do this for me, click the arrow on your mother's profile and add a new husband creating a duplicate of your father, then we'll merge the two profiles together, making you a manager of the profile.
