I am a pro user. I realize non-pros and other profiles max out at 5000 blood relatives but as a pro, it was great seeing the number of blood rekatives rise with my research. The past few days my count was maxing out at 5000 as well (it's actually nearing 24000 now). Part of the incentive at entering profiles was to see that number rise. I would let my pro status expire if I couldn't get that accurate count

Jeff, Geni Curator Geni moved their data center to newer and faster facility this week. I think they're still getting all their cache updated and things recalculated.

Debbie Hausman I am also a Pro user. My blood relatives count was around 65,000, but yesterday it reverted to 5000. -
Jeff, Geni Curator To quote another reply post from Bjorn (Curator)
"The numbers 100,000 and 5,000 are the Pro and Basic user limits, - when you as a Pro only see 5000 it is usually because we have a "counting in progress" - the system first counts to 5000, store the values and the continues for Pro users.
Check again in a day or two to see of the numbers have changed.
Just be aware of the fact that when trying to view or search within the lists you or performance reasons only get the first 5000 in the database."

Debbie Hausman Once again my blood relatives count has reverted to 5000. I've waited for 6 days, as suggested above "counting in progress" for Pro users, but it has not updated. -
Jeff, Geni Curator They just had to restart all the systems a couple days ago due to a power outage. So, I expect it reset and will be refreshing things in time. Mine is also at 5000. It's not a loss of any tree data - it's just a statistic they periodically run.

Debbie Hausman I've waited another week - it's now 13th November and my blood relatives are still maxed out at 5000, which is a lot different to a couple of weeks ago when I had 68,000+ !! -
Jeff, Geni Curator Mine too. If your concern is that you're somehow missing ancestors, then I wouldn't be concerned - I doubt that is the issue. If your concern is the statistic is not updating properly (or timely), then ya - I believe that's a problem. We could submit a help ticket to point out the bug. If you want a more direct visualization of your ancestors, you may want to look at http://www.geni.com/projects/HistoryLink/14021
