On my Geni Basic  account I entered my name as the manager ,in the family tree I have listed my parents and siblings and numerous ancestors.

 The site keeps showing my sister Brenda Ann Vest Melder as the manager and incorrect relationships between myself and her husband and children .I have deleted this inaccurate information at least 10 times and corrected it.

Later when I am back to the tree page it has reverted back to showing her as the manager and the inaccurate info I spoke of. My email address is dalemelder_us@yahoo.com Thanks would appreciate whatever help you can offer.

  Well, you posted this as "Brenda Ann Vest Melder", so your login is probably attached to the wrong profile.
  The easiest solution is that we just switch around and rename your current profile and the Homer profile, and if it is OK for you I can do that for you.
  As a Geni curator I have access to do that if I get a confirmation from you.

  i opened the account as Homer Dale  Melder,but noticed that the managers  name had switched  to my sisters name. I corrected it in the profile area of the system, but found that it reverted back after iI  I had attempted to make the changes.

  I would greatly appreciate it if you can arrange the settings to reflect this as my account because when the managers name is changed it causes items within the framework of the tree to be changed and  become inaccurate .I can & have corrected it ,but I am unable to prevent it changing again.

   If you could set it as my account and save it where that setting would be retained I would greatly appreciate it.

  Taking a closer look you are operating with two separate trees and you are not logged in as your self, so may be  we should let Brenda Ann keep her account. I send a message to both of you.

  I would appreciate detail info as to how to sign in as Homer Dale Melder because when I have gone to the sign page it takes me to a page which shows Brenda as the manager.

  Hi Homer,

  We have reports of another issue that may be what you're experiencing.  Applying new management to a profile is currently not working as expected.  The issue occurs when a user selects the 'Actions' button in the upper-right corner of a profile and selects Manager Options, and attempts to add a new manager to the profile.  

  However, I see you as the manager listed on all immediate family.  Can you paste a specific profile that has the wrong manager assigned and I can take a look for you?

  Alex, He did have two separate trees, where one of them was had a login to his sisters profile. I am going to merge them together for him.

  My name is Sally Lamberts Myrick.  Could you help me also?  I have a similar problem, I just added our family tree and it keeps signing me in as my sister, Jean Soveniski, and shows that she added all the info.

  OK, I have switched your profiles. Please check if spouses and children is correct and check dates.
