My name is Keith J. Croes. I started a family tree a few years ago, including a profile for my father, Jack W. Croes. His residence and e-mail address have both changed, but now I do not see an "Edit profile" link in his profile. How do I update the obsolete information? Thank you for your help.

Bjørn P. Brox By adding an email to his profile you invited him as a Geni user, and when joined only he can changes his own account settings like email.
His old email is still valid as a login to Geni if he remember his password.

I may be able to access his account by posing as him, but isn't there a more straightforward way?

Jeff, Geni Curator Yosh, sorry for your loss. Here are instructions on reporting your father as deceased. http://help.geni.com/entries/20470882-How-do-I-report-a-profile-as-Deceased-
Geni will then deactivate the account and return management to the family.
