Now that I'm connected to the Geni World Tree, I have been receiving this pop up error message over and over again whenever I'm on Geni.com:
Google has disabled use of the Maps API for this application. The provided key is not a valid Google API Key, or it is not authorized for the Google Maps Javascript API v3 on this site. If you are the owner of this application, you can learn about obtaining a valid key here: https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/tutorial#api_key
I get exactly the same message starting this evening, Sept. 18, 2013
very annoying, but what does it mean and what has happened?
The developers need to put the API key in the script, this is becoming annoying.
In the mean time you cannot add locations when in tree view except via Location details,
but marriage location you need to go back to the profile and edit it.
If not done this way, the locations are disappearing when saving!!!
This is just starting for me as well. How can it be fixed?
