  What your images show is not a result of a regular search, it is just a pop-down list of quick search in a short list of names loaded together with the web page.
  This list is a collection of the 10 last profiles you have visited and some profiles you are following.

  Try to hit return when you have entered what you are searching for to activate the real search.
