Still error instead of matches search
Links in list view like "2 similar profiles" (example:)http://www.geni.com/search/matches/6000000011523113529 [the same is for Matches in Tree View - Blue Magnifying Glass + Tree Matches button] instead of opening search or merge compare window are giving just error "Error You don't have permission to view this page" http://www.geni.com/error
Why it is still not fixed for Curators? Why then at all to display this "X similar profiles" or "Blue Magnifying Glass" for the Curators at these cases?
If these profiles are public or private in the Big Tree we can do the merge. If this is wrong match (false positive) we can reject it (and also solve/repair associated bad merges. If one of these (or both) are in the Isolated Tree then we still can initiate the merge (send merge request) or contact managers (via compare or results window) or just ignore this match.
Why we shall manually do search with name each time and analyse the results? (to find out the reason of the error and/or to solve the case)
P.S. If I will click to these instantly proposed match(es) links/buttons I will never know will it open the comparison/search window or the error one...
Yes, but we have the right to merge private matches in The Big Tree and in most cases we will appear in these private trees (outside our family group) by the request of the users or via our or the same users' nearby matches...
I really hope that in future this error will disappear
