there are quite often alternative routes to an ascendent: one which I found one year ago and a new shorter one which I found recently.
System always shows the old route. It is the 8th great uncle but system still tells me that it should be the 5th uncle wifes 2nd great uncles husband or something similar.
Reset old relationship and calculate alternative.
Once you got a relative as 5th grat uncles wifes husbands 3rd uncles uncle you never get away with it unless you build a new tree?
