Last year there was no mention of my birthday on February 25 and now there is no reminder of my birthday this year. Why?

  Edit your profile (http://www.geni.com/profile/edit_basics) and verify that the option "Send birthday reminders to your family" is checked.  Note that family members can choose to not to receive notifications of birthdays and that you will not receive a notification for your own birthday.
