I don't know how, a nonexistent person appeared in my tree as if I added it. It's green (not blue for a man or pink for a woman) and it's called nonono. I never added it, but in its profile it's written that I did. I can't delete it, because I don't see the X in the right corner of the profile. I can't even edit it. How can I get rid from this annoying thing?

Jeff, Geni Curator Green indicates the gender was changed to unknown. "nonono" might be translated to "no no no". The profile, if I'm seeing the correct one, appears to be claimed, which would be a reason you can't edit or delete it. It would seem to me that this person claimed their profile, but didn't like being on Geni (perhaps they didn't configure their privacy settings and thought it was sharing too much) so they tried to obfuscate themselves by changing their gender and name to make it unidentifiable. What you can do is look at the Revisions tab. You should see where they changed their name and gender. You should see a view link, which will allow you to see what the old values were, thus identifying who the profile was when you added it. You should also see the entry when you added it and what values it had then. Then perhaps you could send that person a message and suggest configuring their privacy and permissions, as oppose to this method they've taken.
Important privacy settings to relay:
http://www.geni.com/account_settings/permissions
Uncheck "Let the public search for me (profile privacy settings apply)" This is what allows Google to index your page and capture the information displayed in the privacy settings.

Go through these settings and choose what other users on Geni (outside your family group) can see.

Jeff, Geni Curator Oh, and the person could also redefine their family group, if they want to limit the private information to 2nd cousins or something.

Judite Orensztajn This person really do not exist: it's as if it was the 3rd child of a couple who has only 2 children!
