BUG: Wrong statistics if only a year and no birth month is entered

I noticed that the statistics show that most people in my family are born in January. I found this strange so I clicked on it to see which people are born in January. Then I noticed that there are a lot of people in this list which have only a birth year but no birth month, which means the statistics are useless because wrong information is shown for January.

Please fix this.

  It's been 6 years since this bug was reported, and I'm still experiencing the same issue. Any progress?
