I just updated the "status" at the main page. It is the second time I've tried to great my family in the public wall. But after I enter the message and I reload geni it is gone?! It was there just after I entered it, ... and YES I'M A PAYING GENI MEMBER!

Please check your 'Recent Activity' settings (http://www.geni.com/account_settings/recent_activity) and make sure you have "post my latest news" checked, if it is not checked please select it and then 'Save Changes'. You will then be able to post news updates in your home page for your family to see.
