It appears your database was hacked

The email address I use for my Geni account is a disposable address I only use on Geni and no where else.  Recently I started receiving spam to this address.  I have my Profile Privacy set so that only my photo and location are public and it's been that way since I created my Geni account.  I updated my Geni account today to use a new disposable address and have deleted the old address so I will no longer receive spam at that address, so that solves my problem.  However, I'm sure many of your other customers who don't use disposable addresses are now receiving spam to the address used on this site.

Somehow someone was able to obtain email addresses of your customers.  What other information were they able to obtain?
