Hi!

"Bug report" button lead to "Suggest an Idea"

Wow! That same bug was reported almost 3 years ago and still not been resolve. 

 

On an other matter, I am a basic suscriber and I began to see strange people taking control over of family tree.

There are two name that are more strange than other:

http://www.geni.com/profile/index/6000000001548231070 MRA

They look like information gatterer machine since they are merging profile like hell... hundred of thousand in fact, one every minutes.

Can you look it up and explain why they are allowed to managed my personnal entries?

  Sorry, I don't buy that. In my own opinion, it's a lazy answer.

  Undisclose information in a personnel profile that just say DLD and MRA. 

  And they are "related" to over 200,000 profile and continue to merge with other profile every minutes....

  They seems to be related to a lot and lot of people every minutes that passed.

  I now question the privacy of my familly tree.

  And how do they end up managing my entries?

  To share familly tree information among other familly member and allowed certains carefully chosen stranger that have, we hope, related ancesters to join information with us.

  Great!

  But, in those 2 cases,  I don't believe they really are related to me and my familly. If it's the case, give me the proof. Otherwise sever the link and return my administrative right on my own familly tree.   

  The question here is this, do you allow commercial interests to gather our familly information for an unknown usage.

  Because there are bad people out there that find dark usage for information.  

  And how do they end up managing my entries?
