When I (forest) export my tree to GEDCOM, not all the profiles in my family tree are exported to the file. When I open the file to check it, I am unable to find few of the names that I added to my tree. Is there some other option that I need to try?

Bjørn P. Brox How many did you get?
Currently there is a limitation of ten times the number of profiles you have added, and max 5000 for basic users.

Raghunath Rajagopalan Thank you so much for the quick response. Below is the statistics. Since I have recently started on this, I haven't added so many profiles.
However, couple of (really) distant relatives whom I have added doesn't appear in the export dump. In total, I have added 442 profiles and so I assumed all these profiles should enter into the export dump file. But to my surprise, I didn't find a few. Is there anything else that I am missing or any more info that you need to drill down this issue further?

Cheryl Renshaw I'd be grateful for your advice and clarification. I am new to using or reviewing Geni and it all apears very clever and interesting. My profile has been added to a family tree along with all of my close relatives by a distant cousin.
I emphasise that i have not personally added any content to Geni...as my cousin has done a good and competent job of it. My question is...am I able to export via a GEDCOM file all my blood relatives as detailed in Geni? My daughter has a small geneology project and has access to a software program that would import an extract using the GEDCOM facility.
Thank you for your understanding

Muammar Ghadafi ISHAK It seems nowadays its not 10 times the number of profiles we added anymore. It has been cut to 5 times only. Any specific reason why it was reduced? I didn't really realized earlier when I did my normal backup of the GEDCOM, I thought it was the same backup that I always did. Until when I read here about the ten times limitation.
