I cannot view my family tree & it is coming up with an error message saying Tree is split and that I don't have access to my Geni Tree! Is there a phone # that I can call or an email to get help or do I have to start over from scratch and create a brand new tree? marywilhelm12@yahoo.com
Mary E, what part of your tree is showing the error. I viewed the tree focused on your profile and didn't see any issues.
Geni Curator Team Curator One of the people I can not access is my paternal grandmother Eleanor Rose Wilhelm (Harrigan) DOB June 3 1908 in Mazomanie, Wisconsin to John Harrigan and Anna Berka. DOD March 7, 1998 Wisconsin. She should be married to Franklin J Wilhelm aka "Sam" DOB 20 January 1904 Cadott, Chippewa, Wisconsin DOD 17 July 1962 DOM June 1931 Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Neither Franklin Wilhelm or Eleanor Rose Wilhelm (Harrigan) had any other spouses. There are also other members of my family tree which I have had to reenter because I "no longer have permission to access that portion of my tree even though I entered these people myself. There are also "zombies throughout my tree. I have tried to mark them as deceased an they keep showing up as "private living". Help Mary E Curtis (Wilhelm) marywilhelm12@yahoo.com
Geni Curator Team Curator Geni zendesk support@geni.com Ticket #84243: Re: Error message on family tree
In addition to getting the error message saying Tree is split you no longer have access to this Geni Tree. I now have an even bigger problem when it comes to accessing my immediate family. I do not own a computer. I only use public computers at Public Libraries. The Milwaukee County Library System in Milwaukee, WI, USA does NOT have Geni public access or Geni Pro. I desperately need your help!
I have attached a word file showing the error screen and the people I can not access. World Tree has my grandfather is married to himself and my grandmother is married to herself as well as being married to each other. I can not change this because I do not have access to World Tree. When I click on Tree I get the error message "We found a problem" I can not access myself, my parents, my grand parents or my great grand parents on my patriarchal side. I have limited access to other parts of my tree if I do a global search for someone and then find them in my tree or the tree of a collaborator. I can not go directly to my tree. Mary,
I was able to break some of the ties that seem to be giving that error viewing the tree...I saw it too. Take a look now and see.
