Earlier today I had the relationship description of an great- UNCLE listed as a cousin's mother's husband. I ignored that one because it wasn't a direct ancestor anyway.
But tonight, My 6th great-grandfather was no longer connected to my tree by descendency- he was listed as the spouse of the mother of his son. I tried to fix Cornelius Dorsey Sr. by correcting Robert Walker Dorsey- his son's- Parents in the Relationships edit, and it BROKE MY TREE. Now Robert Walker Dorsey, http://www.geni.com/people/Robert-Dorsey/6000000017237035508 and his wife, parents and ALL ancestors disappeared from my tree, and his name no longer appeared in my "go to" list on my tree. I added Robert Walker Dorsey and his wife Thonecia (Nicey) Wright back, but I don't have all their data and no "merge" request appeared for them.
Please RESTORE my tree! I used to have "645 profiles added" and now I've somehow lost 200 of them. How does this stuff happen?
And fix those relationship descriptions. A spouse of a grandparent IS the other grandparent unless there is a separate marriage involved. The siblings of a parent are Aunt and Uncle. The spouse of an Uncle is called Aunt. always.
While you are at it, please delete Aaron Sorden from my niece's relationships. He is no longer Cassandra Hulett's fiancee.
