Hello, I haven't checked Geni for a while, it seems it is not possible to do anything on the site any more. Could be something is wrong with my account. A while back, I have provided quite a bit of data into geni for free, and now it seems I don't get much (or anything at all?) in return.

What kind of problems do you see?
You should be able to edit any none-user profile within your family group and public profiles outside your family group if you are collaborating with one of the profile managers.

I have some new family members that I was attempting to add to my tree. They seemed to already exist in Geni, however, I could not verify it, because search resulted in links that were not useful - all the links in search results are Pro promotion links that contain no actual profile information. There is no indication how to contact the managers, and not much way to do any research for myself. I had impression that the preferred way to add data to one's tree was through collaboration, to avoid data duplication, however, I only have option to add data anew.
