Bug with showing relatives as blood relatives

Hi!

I'm having a bit of a problem with showing direct blood lines to newly added relatives. I think it's because a branch of my family that until recently only was in-laws now are blood relatives. For example my 7th great grandfather is showing correctly, but his father (who is then logically my 8th great grandfather) is showing as my "first cousin twice removed's husband's fifth great grandfather. How can I change this?
