I'm currently struggeling with one of the persons in my tree.
I can't delete him. He is a mistake, but there is no "x" for delete. I've tried a lot of things, but the only thing that's happening is that he gets more relations in his settings and those I can't remove either. They're just listed as "Unknown" and when I try to remove the relationship I just get a warning that says that I'm about to split my tree and thats, aparently, not possible.
Can you, administratirers, please delete this person for me.
His name is "knud pedersen (Larsen)" and he is my, "Emil Lund", grandmothers brother on my mothers side, acording to my tree.
And my suggestion to you is that it should always be possible to delete any person in your tree.
So if I where to delete my grandmother (my moms mother) then all ansesters that are linked to her should just be remvoed and deleted.
Of corse there have to be warnings about this feature if it's this kind of situation. And a window should apear with a list of all the names of people that would be deleted along with the selected person. One should at least confirm the deltetion twice to avoid big deletions by mistake. And the deletion should always be in refference to oneself, the owner of the account, in my tree: Emil Lund
In the case of "knud pedersen (Larsen)", if he had a wife and they had any children and so on, then only he, his wife and her family ansesters and everybodys decendents should be removed and deleted, since I, Emil Lund, is the refference person.
Or maybe you could make it possible to choose who the refference person is for the individual deletion, but haveing yourself as a default.
