This account was originally in my wife's name and using her email address. She invited me onto her account and now everything comes in my name including emails and listing her "family tree" and "additions" as my family. Please advise me on how to correct this situation. Thank you.
Invited how?
She cannot invite you to her account, - she can invite you to her tree, - as her husband, and as far as I can see that is how your tree is set up.
Of course you see her tree as well as your own, depending on your focus point in the tree, since she is connected as your wife.
If you get annoyed by getting emails about her activity in the tree there is clear instructions in every mail you get from Geni on how to reduce them, - but I suggest you start by looking into your account settings you find in the user menu you get by clicking your own name in the upper right corner of any Geni window.
