I can not change an email adress

Hi

I am using the Free Geni and I really appreciate using it.

Five years ago my wife stopped using services from the former telco operator and change to a new operator.

By doing that she also changed her email adress. But she and I have failed to chang her emailadress in Geni. We have tried a lot of possibilities and suggested solutions from friends and family.

This problem stops her from using Geni and it gives Geni bad reputation among our friends

Once I tried to enter a new wife in Geni with the correct email adress and later merge but this did not help me. Now I can not remove "My second wife" . And my family laughs at me having "two wifes" in Geni

  Even if you don't have access to the mail account the old email can still be used as login on Geni as long as you remember the password.

  The http://help.geni.com/categories/10689-Frequently-Asked-Questions explains how to change the email, but please note: You can only change your own email.
  To help your wife I will merge her two accounts, - but she might have to request a new password: https://www.geni.com/login/send_password

  Please remember to change which email is your primary, and eventually delete the old email.

  We can not use the old email user/password

  The problem is that she has forgot the password connected to the old user that has not been used for five years
