At times it's difficult to do a simple tasks on Geni. It should be much simpler to add and especially DELETE items. You have to search high and low to find a delete button for every single option, and each delete button is in a different place! I've looked up how to delete a document, since I added a document twice by mistake. The instructions given don't work! Also note that I only put the document in twice because, it didn't go on the main page like I assumed it would? It went onto a "documents page" which no one knows how to get to? No one would even know the document is there? It should go on the first page. Also many times when I add something it doesn't always stick. I sometimes have to load things over and over again until it stays put! I sometimes want to add the place of death or birth MY WAY and get frustrated having to use the mandatory format of towns, although I like that they are there as a suggestion, or to use for proper spelling. Don't get me wrong, I think Geni is a GREAT SITE! I prefer it over Ancestry.com, but it's very frustrating to add and delete info which should be a breeze. Somehow the whole format should be simplified. Like for instance, ALL of your options for EVERY task should come up when you click on the word "Options" for example which should be located at the top of the page you are working on. In the SAME PLACE on every page! I dunno..... I see a LOT of people complaining about the same things over and over. I'm not sure who runs this site? But it seems like they're not acting on all the complaints? It would be nice to see the bugs fixed, it's a wonderful site! Thank you!
