Charting Companion for Geni is listing a lot of rejected profiles

I'm using a Charting Companion for Geni (CCGeni)  for most of my genealogy works. There was a problem which I had since last year.

When viewing several profiles using CCGeni, it had showed several profiles which earlier I had rejected in the Geni. I can't see those profiles in Geni website anymore, but CCGeni is still showing it. It seems the Geni API is still returning those rejected profiles.

I did tried to access the Geni API directly by myself and it does return those rejected profiles. Is this expected? Is it possible if Geni API only return valid profiles(not including rejected profiles).

I did contacted both Geni and CCGeni but there were no new response from them since last January.

  What I do for http://historylink.herokuapp.com/ is I include the "deleted" field as part of my API query and if the return of that value is set to "true", I ignore the entry.

  Thanks Jeff. Well I did came through that 'deleted' field half year ago and suggested it to both Geni and Charting Companion but none of them had feedback anything. I had no problems with my own scripts which I had modified to parse this field. Only problem that I have is with the Charting Companion which was developed by someone else.

  This 'deleted' field is also not in the API documentation too(or perhaps I didn't search at the right place?). It's a question should Geni returned those rejected profiles or not. If Geni had clearly stated about it in the documentation, then we have no more doubt and just follow it. And for sure I will sure put some pressure on Charting Companion side to fix this :)

  Just several weeks ago,  I don't seem to have this problem anymore. When I tried to access the API, it does seems that those rejected profiles are already gone. It might be that it wait for a complete 1 year before it is confirmed to be deleted from the system. There goes my 1 year pro subscription ;)
